Tiny Toes Childcare

Tiny Toes Childcare is open 50 weeks of the year, closing only for bank holidays and over the Christmas break. We are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We are sited in dedicated rooms within the Evreham Adult Education Centre off Swallow Street in Iver. With access to an outdoor play area and  ample parking this nursery offers a great start for our youngest charges. We have places for children and babies from 6 weeks old until when they start school. Tiny Toes Childcare is owned by Iver Community Childcare CIC and registered with Ofsted. Our Ofsted registration number is EY452766. You can read our most recent Ofsted report here.

Early Education Funding (EEF) is available for most children aged three and four (the term after your child’s third birthday) and some children aged two. This will allow you to access free childcare for up to 15 hours per week for 38 weeks a year (during term time). Find out more about two year funding and see if you are eligible.

From September 2017 Tiny Toes will also be offering 30 hrs free childcare for eligible children. This is extra help with childcare costs primarily where both parents are working or when one is working and one is unable to work or for working single parents. Other help may be available, we are registered with Tax Free Childcare scheme and take most childcare vouchers. For more information about what help is available with childcare costs click here.

Our Structure On joining Tiny Toes you and your child will be assigned a key person. This means that there is a named person who will work closely with you and your child. They can answer any questions that you may have and will keep you informed about your child’s achievements, progress and development. Each child’s key person will support their learning and development through planned learning opportunities unique to their needs and interests. This is documented in each child’s Learning Journal, these are available for parents to view at any time and staff will provide verbal feedback on a daily basis and arrange formal Parents’ Meetings during the year.

Our Setting Tiny Toes Childcare has a dedicated space for children aged 0-2 and a separate pre-school area for children aged two and above. Our outdoor play area is easily accessible to both age groups and is as important as our indoor space.

Our Day Everything that we do throughout the day at Tiny Toes Childcare links with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS sets the standards for your child’s learning, development and care from birth to five years. Covered largely through games and play, the areas of learning are as follows:

  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Personal and Social Development
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Understanding the World
  • Expressive Arts and Design

Planned activities are also run throughout the day to encourage development through children’s specific interests. You can find out more by reading our guide to the EYFS.
